Rocksteady Studios is set to launch the forthcoming season of Suicide Squad: Subdue the Justice League on July 11th. Previously, in February, inside information suggested that Freeze would be joining the playable character roster, but it's different from the Victor Fries we're accustomed to. Incidentally, Mrs. Freeze appears to originate from an alternative Elseworlds map, perpetually blanketed in winter. Whether her this character represents Nora Fries or simply a parallel version of Vic remains unclear or.
The introduction of Mrs. Freeze also brings along a fresh Melee Weapon Pack, in addition to new Infamy Sets and Notorious Gear (which includes items inspired by Frost and Firefly) in the third episode titled Frozen Hearts. Concurrently, another Elseworlds Mayhem map is in the works, featuring a boss-level challenge presented by the brainwashed versions of Superman and Flash. As these heroes' capabilities have been previously showcased, speculation suggests that the encounter might involve both villains collaborating or a single antagonist wielding their combined powers.
The fourth episode, Winter, is launching mid-season, which expands the Infamy Sets and Notorious Gear roster featuring inspiration from Captain Cold, Icicle, and Trickster. A new wave of Incursions unfolds, and a significant face-off against a brainwashed Green Lantern and Superman awaits. In addition, devotees of Batman: Arkham (the remaining few, at least) can expect a new Harley Quinn skin mirroring her look in Arkham Knight.
Suicide Squad: Subdue the Justice League is accessible on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
